# The Verification Process

Before verifying your identity you must already have a legitimate account. If you haven't created one yet, you can find the details on how to do that [here](/getting-started/creating-an-account.md).

### Requirements

You will require the following in order to complete the verification process:

* A camera on your computer or a mobile phone
* ID such as a driving licence or passport
* You must be 16 years of age or older<br>
